Hi Everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful day. It has been raining on and off here but didn't stop us from going out. Our plan was to go hiking at Kirby Cove and we did it! Kirby Cove is one of my favorite hiking places. It is about 2.5 miles down to the beach and it is a perfect distance to hike with a 4.5 years old who will decide to get tired at any moment :-) The air was so clean. I think I had enough clean air in my lung now :-) We were planning to camp here last year but unfortunately, the campgrounds were booked up throughout the season. We will try again this year.

If you are in town, I would highly recommend this place. It is a little hard to find the trail. It is near the view point where you can walk on top of the hill to see the most beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. To help you navigate, please check out this website.

Kirby Cove

The weather in San Francisco has been so nice. It is warn enough to enjoy the beach at Kirby Cove. It's not easy to find this place if you are not familiar with the city. The entrance is at the parking area above the Battary Spencer on Conzelman Road-eye-level with the Golden Gate Bridge view. There is about a mile hike down to the beach and it's worth it. I have been trying to reserve the campground but no luck so far. It booked solid since the day the reservation opened. There are day use picnic tables you can use and always available. The view from the beach is incredible. I can feel the Golden Gate Bridge being really close to me! If you are in the area, I would recommend visiting this place.
